Simone Figus is a painter and illustrator born in Sardinia in 1981. At the age of twenty he attended a drawing course learning the basic techniques of construction and anatomy. Two years later he attended a web and traditional animation course held by professionals in the sector, learning further techniques of drawing and coloring, both digital and traditional. He later worked as a draftsman, storyboarder and animator for a web animation company. For several years he worked as a freelance illustrator, creating various works for magazines, brochures, posters, books and various projects. For a long time he held various workshops in schools and social gathering centers teaching the main techniques of drawing. His works have been exhibited in numerous artistic events and art galleries and published in various magazines. Simone currently lives and works in Berlin.
